Description
Journal Biblical Apologetics volume 1
Journal of Biblical Apologetics volume 1. This volume dedicated to humanism and natural theology outlines these two topics. In the articles presented various authors summarize what natural theology means. Dr. Morey also deals with natural theology but he down grades it. Natural theology depends on man’s reason, and man’s reason – not dependable! One reasons “A” is good. Another reasons “A” is bad. Both reasoners won’t be correct. Therefore, mans reason – not dependable! In 1 Corinthians 1:21 the Apostle Paul tells us “Man will never find the true God through human reason.” How much clearer must it be? In other words man’s reason never leads to the truth.
Topics in this first volume of the Journal Biblical Apologetics include:
Is Natural Theology Fideistic? (Dr. Robert Morey). Greek Origins of Natural Theology (Dr. Robert K. McGregor Wright). Natural Theology in Byzantine Theology (Steve Hayes). Is “Natural Theology” A Form of Deism? (Dr. Robert Morey). What is Natural Theology? (Dr. Robert Morey). The Ways of Knowing (Dr. Carl F. H. Henry). Special Divine Revelation as Rational (Dr. Gordon H. Clark). The Relationship of God to the Space/Time Universe (Dr. Robert Morey). All these articles deal with some form of “Natural Theology”. However, the authors don’t support Natural Theology. They merely explain what it entails. Also they explain that man’s reason leads into darkness. As a result man’s reason cannot lead him to God’s light! Be very careful of who leads you in any worship. You may be being lead by a “demon” who claims to be Christian
Simple test that reveals Deists
Ask them who must be the measure of all things? Also whose revelation decides truth, morals, beauty? Who judges who, the bible or human reason? Who derives our theology, nature and reason, or the bible?
