Description
The Qu’ran of Islam
The Qu’ran of Islam; Dr. Morey explains how he uses humor to evangelize Muslims. Also how he requests their help in understanding aspects of their religion. While discussing this approach to evangelizing Dr. Morey starts explaining certain aspects of the Qu’ran. Aspects such as a false history of the Qu’ran. No evidence exists of the early editions of this book. The Qu’ran itself tells of Muhammad reciting the revelations and people writing it down. Writing it down not all on paper, but on leaves, bones, or pieces of leather, even on stones. The publishing of the first Qu’ran happened 150 years after Muhammad’s death. So Muhammad never saw the Qu’ran. In those passing years lots of these items became lost. Other differences came from memory loss of what was recited. One of the historical errors, Muhammad never saw a Qu’ran even though the credit for putting it together goes to him.
The lecture continues discussing the life and times of Muhammad. Actually the term Muhammad means “blessed one”. So the title Muhammad attached to a man named Katab who became the messenger of Allah. Many are the factual errors that appear in the Religion of Islam. Enough errors to make the “religion” questionable to many who understand the errors. Scientific errors such as a fly contains a disease on one wing, but the antidote on the other wing. Another error telling that the sun sets in a muddy pool.
