Chapter 13 gives us more information for Christian living. The Roman government crucified our Lord, falsely, the witnesses hide behind a wall. Then the discussion turns to what the government should be allowed to control in the church. All authority comes from God, scripture explains the delegated authority issued from God to whom He wishes. The government gets their authority from God no matter what. Delegated means limited therefore, a Christian ‘s authority comes from God. If someone resists any authority they resist God.

Chapter 12-15, Moving to Chapter 14, the application of the gospel to the Christian life. Sleeping Christians cause spiritual destruction. You become worldly people when you sleep spiritually. Sleep fills the night time and darkness, however, we need to live in the light. Putting on the image of Christ requires us to live in the light. We need to function in the church and your life. Christ gave us the example we need to follow. Morals and doctrine get mandated by the Lord as written in scripture.
Now we hear what chapter 15 tells us concerning the Christian life. The strong Christian ought to bear the weaknesses of the weaker Christians. Help them to understand what way they should live knowing that God tolerates weak Christians. (11 disc set)
