Journal Biblical Apologetics Volume 4 Modern Roman Catholicism (Part 2)

This volume consists of the following topics:
Introduction: The Collapse of Religious Zones (Dr. Robert Morey).  An article that talks about how you probably came to worship as you do.  Fatima, The Pope and the Vatican Contradict the Gospel, Where Do Evangelical ECT signatories now stand? (Richard Bennett). This article discusses the fallacies made by the Pope about Fatima.  Original Sin, The Atonement, and Justification (Dr. Robert Morey).  An article that compares Jesus and Adam and us.  Not Those Works, But These Works! (Robert Michael Zins).  In short, a discussion of the answer to this question, “What is the righteousness contemplated by God in the verdict of Justification?”

The Spirit of ECT and The Emperor’s New Clothes (Robert Michael Zins.  (ECT equals Evangelicals and Catholics Together.)  Another discussion this time about Charles Colson.  Mr. Colson makes comments about divisions in communities.  Dominus Jesus: Rome Exalts Her Throne (Richard M. Bennett).  Rome dropped the charade.  The empty ecumenical charade ended!  Time for men to step up and declare their love for God. The Roman Catholic Church in History: Part I (late Dr. Walter R. Martin).  Dr.Martin relates a history of Catholicism that includes stories concerning who was the first Pope.  As well as many other interesting facts.

Journal Biblical Apoogetics Volume 4 continues

The Alignment of New Evangelicals with Apostasy (Richard M. Bennett).  An evangelical professes to be committed to the gospel of Christ according to scripture.  However, now this discussion becomes pertinent to the “ECT accord” from the other article.  Scripture or Tradition (John Zens).  The Roman Catholic Church never based their teachings on scripture.  As a result, both scripture and tradition need to be taken into account.  Did Mary Remain a Virgin? A Closer Look at Matthew 1:18-25 (Eric Svendsen).   A discussion of the word “until” from Matthew.  To determine if Mary, Mother of Jesus remained a virgin.  In short it appears that no decision appeared made.

Biblical Unity or Papal Conformity? (Richard Bennett and Michael de Semlyen.  Unity, A papal deception in the name of Christian unity.  Further examination The fact that Jesus prayed for Christian unity proves it exists.  However, not through or within the Roman Church.   The Roman Catholic Church in History: Part 2 (late Dr. Walter Martin).  Continuing the history Dr. Martin  discusses more apostacy committed in Christ’s name by the Roman Church.  How Many Protestant Denominations? (Eric Svendsen).  This article calls into question practices of the Roman Church.  Primarily the argument that all protestant churches do not follow the same scripture.  Of course this is an unsound conclusion.  Queen of All (Jim Tetlow; Book Review.  An autobiography of two people who left Protestantism for Romanism!  In conclusion, their defection was due to unsubstantiated apostacy of the protestant church.
