This explains why Christians should NOT belong to Masonry. In fact Masonry is a cult not a religion as their books and materials relate. In his lecture Dr. Morey allows a question and answer period of questions from the audience. In one such case the answer is that masonry is basically demonic in nature. The name Jesus is not allowed to be mentioned in a lodge. The demonic aspect is related to a greater extent in the higher degrees, above the third degree. Dr. Morey tells of the research done using only the masonic materials. However, he compares these writings to Christian Scripture to point up the differences. These differences relate how important it is for a person to study and research a group before joining.

We also learn that masonry doesn’t have the mystical background relating to when it began. In fact Dr. Morey’s research shows that masonry started, as a men’s only social club, in 1717. This CD set needs to be heard by all Christians who feel that they can belong to a Mason’s lodge and a church. In fact Masonry as a whole can be considered a cult and heretical all at once. Therefore it would be a good idea for Christians to remove themselves from any affiliation with Freemasonry. When Mr. Pike took over the lodge, he made it into a non-Christian organization. Mr. Pike as mentioned removed all references to Christian scripture.
