The book also explains that the object of saving grace in both the Old Testament & New Testament was the same: the saving grace of Christ. The Old Testament saints had the same spirit in them. Did not the Old Testament prophets speak about Christ “by the spirit of Christ which was in them” (1 Pet. 1:11)?

Job, Moses, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, King David, Samson, etc. believed in the same God that the Apostles believed in (Paul, Peter, Mark, John, etc.) and were saved the same way–that is, they were justified through faith in Yeshua. Yes, the Old Testament saints were saved the same way.
