Note: James Ussher (01/04/1581 — 03/21/1656), Archbishop of Armagh & Primate of all Ireland, did not understand that genealogies in the Bible are not exhaustive and the Bible did not included everyone in the genealogies. So, if the earth is 10,000 or 15,000 years old, this would not contradict the Bible account in Genesis. Also, the Hebrew word “Yom” in Genesis when preceded by a numeral always means a “literal day.” God created a mature universe with apparent old age.
