God Manifested in the Flesh, The doctrine of Jesus, the Son of God occurs as what? Jesus lived as God, or He lived as Man? Or He lived as both? Dr. Morey takes us to the Gospel of John to show us that Jesus existed at the beginning of everything. In fact this proves Jesus held creation in His hands. This shows the first facts of Jesus’ deity, God manifested in the flesh. This also tells us that Jesus existed before the beginning began, before time! The Logos, the Word, Jesus existed before the creation of the world. That is to say Jesus became the intercessor for us to ask God to forgive us for our sins, our Savior. Dr. Morey then begins to talk about the Man-of-very-Man, Jesus who without sin represents us before God Almighty.
Salvation, a gift from God, takes place through our Savior, Jesus. As a result no other way occurs for us. We need Grace to receive salvation from our sins. The only source of Grace comes from God through His Son, Jesus Christ. If Jesus existed not as God or not as man it would be like a bridge broken at both ends. Therefore we need Jesus as God to represent us before God, and as sinless man to remove our sins.
