We are faced today with a generation of rebellious children and grandchildren.  There is no fear of God before their eyes!  As Christian parents, we have a deep concern for the eternal welfare of our children.  We desire and pray for their salvation. Our deepest desire is that our children will love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ (Eph. 6:4).

The spiritual, physical and social maturity of our children, in which they grow in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man (Lk. 2:52), is another important goal for parents. Our children must be prepared to walk with God and work with man.  Their moral character should be founded on a deeply ingrained desire to please God.
