Scripture instructs us to, “stand firm against the schemes of the devil” how, if ignorance blinds us? Who places ignorance to blind us(?) that’s right the devil! However, God provides the strength to withstand the devil’s powers. The Apostle Paul tells us in Roman’s 5:3, “We also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings perseverance.” Therefore, tribulation brings joy! If we know the purpose of the pain, we understand it. Understanding the purpose of the pain allows us to endure it. God sends us trials to develop perseverance. Perseverance produces character. Character provides hope, the hope of God’s love.
Concern about Satan’s Devices
Do Christians need to be concerned about demon possession? The angels told the shepherds, “Fear not, for we bring you news of great joy!” Scripture relates that Christians need not worry about possession; worry about deception; temptation; oppression; and manipulation – yes. However, scripture discusses no examples of a Christian demon possession. The burden of proof rests on those claiming that possession happens. To be blunt, demons lie since their service lies in their service to the “father of lies!” Because of the preceding this book belongs in your library.
