Dr Morey discusses the parts of philosophy that pertain to religion. Metaphysics, does something exist, the way to prove that it does. Epistemology, how do we know what it is? Ethics, morals how should we apply what we know? Aesthetics, the beauty, nature, and standards we apply to things, people and etc. The philosophers tried to synthesize all that went before to what they were trying to explain. The philosophers dealt with dichotomies, either/or. They did not think that some things could exist without the either/or dichotomy.
