Christian and Conspiracies, Was the government behind 9/11? Is there a secret organization running the world behind closed doors? Why are the people who uncover these conspiracies still alive and well? This seminar discusses the Conspiracy Theory mindset and asks, “Is this healthy for a Christian?” After the introduction listing the “conspiracies,” Dr. Morey provides a definition of the word conspiracy. People who think about conspiracies Dr. Morey considers them delusional, feeling that the world is out to get them. Conspiracy theories put man as sovereign and not God. However God provides the history of what goes on in His world. Man may plan. but God directs.
Christians need not worry about conspiracy theories. Because God is in charge and reveals what will happen through scripture. Those that adhere to various conspiracy theories get lost, why? They have no anchor to hold them in the safe places. We find many conspiracies in the Old and New Testaments. Cain versus Able; tower of Babel. Saul vs David and we see how God took control. The conspiracies became resolved according to God’s scripture revealed plan. No decree, no plans made turn aside from God’s sovereign decree.
The video shows a list of groups and their respective theories. Regardless of the thoughts and actions of these groups the person in charge – God! Certainly, Christians must never forget this fact, God is always in control of His Creation.
